Well...It was a mouthwatering final between India and Sri Lanka in which India emerged as the World Cup champs after 28 years..India qualified for the finals after defeating Pakistan by 29 runs and Sri lanka qualified after defeating New Zeland by 5 wickets...Dhoni who was in patches throughout the World Cup came up with a match winning 91*...This is probably the last World Cup match for the legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar...and this was the last match forthe spin wizard Mutthiah Muralitharan...
